Russia’s military could buy Boeing Co.’s Dreamliner, Airbus Group SE and Airbus A320neo jets from the U.N. Security Council in a deal worth $600 billion, the Financial Times reported.
The Financial Times cited an unnamed European official who said Moscow could buy as many as six jets.
The newspaper reported that the U,S.
and EU have been negotiating to reach a deal for nearly a year.
The talks are expected to last several days.
Russia’s defense budget was the third-highest among the world’s nations in 2017, behind only the U., China and India.
