The transfer window has opened for Barcelona, with the Spanish giants in a strong position to complete a deal for Manchester City defender Yaya Toure.
The 26-year-old, who was a key part of Pep Guardiola’s side last season, will leave City for €45m (£38.7m) and Barcelona’s next major transfer target, Manchester United’s Nemanja Vidic, is said to be keen.

The report claims that United will make the move official next week.
Barcelona also hope to sign Southampton’s Christian Eriksen, as well as the former Chelsea and Manchester City player Nathaniel Clyne.
